Oh hai
Hmm... my job has been occupying me, which is a good thing. Been a great month so far working at Next Level Games. Guess i won't be updating this blog.. heck I haven't even played WoW since I got my job :) So... this may just end up collecting dust until I'm job hunting again!

Two Weeks into the Job
Wow, it's been an enjoyable two weeks at Next Level Games. Hopefully I didn't jinx it! The project I'm on is in its early phases and I have the luxury of taking the time to learn the pipeline as well as learn from the talented veterans there.
I don't feel much like doing my own personal art so far... so I guess my portfolio will collect a little dust for the time being, haha. Would like to get something going though, just don't know what and how big of a scope I want to tackle.
Overall, it's been good. I'm pretty happy that most of my skills I learned on my own are also applicable at work. So yah.. thats that

Oh yeah.. I got a job!
Haha.. in all the excitement I almost forgot to mention that I got the job! I'm now a Junior Environment Artist at Next Level Games! I start Monday... not sure what's gonna happen to this blog. I know that ideally I want to keep making my own stuff in my off time, but I also want to have some personal time away from 3D stuff. Guess we'll see :)

Gas Dock: It never ends!
Nothing like month long cold symptoms and depression. Well.. starting to pull myself out of the gutter and decided to spend some more time on my gas dock scene. Been making some small props to fill the vacant spaces. Here's a high poly of a cement mixer.. yah, I realise its a grey on grey render.. whatever, not like anyone reads this blog :p

Gas Doc: Done
Spent way too long on this with very little progress near the end. Someone wrote on a Polycount.net thread that sometimes you can't always be 100% happy with the work you turn in, but the important thing is that you finish. So here it is!
And, wow, another year has gone by. I'm still unemployed and its getting kinda depressing, but trying to move on. I also spent the whole of December partially sick and succumbed to World of Warcraft. Some people drink, some people do drugs, I play WoW.
